James Beall joined the AlexRenew Board of Directors in March 2016. He currently works as the Section Chief, Design Build Coordinator for Fairfax County Department of Transportation. Mr. Beall brings more than 35 years of civil engineering consulting experience. He has managed and designed public and private infrastructure projects, including storm and sanitary sewers, water systems, and wastewater treatment plants with companies including Atkins, McKissack & McKissack, and HNTB. He holds a Bachelors’ of Science in Civil Engineering from Rice University. 

Mr. Beall lives in the Del Ray section of Alexandria and is a member of the Del Ray Citizens Association. He has also served on the Board of the Presbyterian Meeting House in Old Town Alexandria.
