Last week AlexRenew staff returned from WaterJAM, one of the region's biggest conferences for the water and wastewater. Throughout the week, staff shared their expertise on current issues and AlexRenew's innovations in the wastewater industry, while connecting with colleagues and friends.

Highlights from the Week
- Chief Administrative Officer Caitlin Feehan served on a panel on Monday following a screening of the documentary Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong. During the panel, Caitlin discussed how AlexRenew is developing the next generation of wastewater professionals and proactively managing biosolids.
- On Tuesday, Director of Finance Lake Akinkugbe served on the keynote panel, Pipes to Policy to People: Built for Water. The panel explored topics including AI, employee retention and development, and capital improvement project funding. Lake offered insight to how AlexRenew managed the RiverRenew project from a financial perspective, and how how the organization is looking to develop the facility in the future.
- Lab Manager Aster Tekle co-led a presentation with Brown and Caldwell on Wednesday, looking at the impacts of PFAS regulation and how AlexRenew has collected data to inform future developments at the facility.
- Asset Manager Abhiram Satyadev co-led a presentation with Brown and Caldwell on Wednesday, exploring the journey on implementing an Asset Management program and some of the challenges in the process.
