How to Do Business with AlexRenew
All Public Notices regarding requests for proposal (RFP), qualifications (RFQ), information (RFI), expressions of interest (RFEI), and invitations for bid (IFB) are advertised in one or more of the following ways:

Suppliers are encouraged to attend bid openings. Unless otherwise specified, awards will be made within 60 days of the opening. Please review our purchasing terms and conditions (PDF) before submitting your bid.
Also, make sure you’ve completed your eVA registration.

UPDATED PROCEDURES FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS AND PROPOSALS
Bids and proposals will be received on or before the date and the hour and at the place stipulated in the solicitation as may be modified by subsequent addenda.
It is the responsibility of the bidder and offerors to assure that his/her bid or proposal, including acknowledgement of addenda, are delivered to the place designated for receipt of bids and proposals by the date and hour (deadline) set for receipt of bids and proposals. Therefore, it is the bidder’s/offerors responsibility to take into account all factors which may impact its bid/proposal delivery, including a courier’s ability to deliver the bid/proposal, and to implement whatever actions are necessary to have the bid/proposal delivered to the proper bid/proposal receipt location prior to the bid/proposal receipt deadline. No bids/proposal or bid/proposal modifications submitted or offered after the date and hour designated for receipt of bids/proposals will be accepted or considered.
A secure, unattended, designated bid/proposal drop off location is set-up at AlexRenew’s offices is available for bidders to safely deliver and deposit their bids.
Procedures for bid drop off:
a. Bidders/offers shall enter the vestibule on the side entrance of Environmental Center.
b. Sanitize your hands.
c. Pickup two (2) copies of bid\proposal receipt slips.
d. Fill out both slips.
e. Run both of them through the date\time stamper.
f. Using tape (provided) affix one label to the bid/proposal package.
g. Drop off the bid/proposal package in the labeled box.
h. Keep one slip for your record.
i. No responsibility will be attached to any officer or agent for the premature opening of a bid/proposal not properly addressed and identified or bids/proposal that were dropped off without affixed labels to indicate time of deposit.
The official time used for receipt of bids/proposal is the Bid Clerk’s time and date stamp clock located at the secure bid/proposal drop off location at AlexRenew’s offices. No other clocks, calendars or timepieces are recognized. All bidders/offerors are responsible to ensure all bids/proposal and modifications thereof are received prior to the scheduled due date/time.
All dropped off bids/proposals that were date/time stamped prior to the bid/proposal receipt deadline will be deemed to be timely.
UPDATED PROCEDURES FOR OPENING OF BIDS
AlexRenew will post an online meeting schedule on its website, during this meeting timely received bids will be opened publicly and announced.
The provisions of § 2.2-4342 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, shall be applicable to the inspections of bids received.

Replacement of the existing Building G1 and IPS roofs, including abatement of asbestos, removal of existing Built Up Roof (BUR), including Light Weight Insulated Concrete (LWIC), temporary relocation of functional HVAC equipment. The intent of this invitation to bid (ITB) is to solicit construction services related to the improvement of the Potomac Yard Pump Station. Improvements include but are not limited to the replacement of an odor control system, modification of existing ductwork and ventilation systems, addition of an aluminum channel and wet well cover system, and installation of associated instrumentation, control, and electrical equipment.
