AlexRenew Partners with Traylor-Shea Joint Venture to Deliver Healthier Waterways to Alexandria
Alexandria, VA (November 18, 2020) – At its regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, November 17, the Alexandria Renew Enterprises (AlexRenew) Board awarded a contract to Traylor-Shea Joint Venture to design and construct the RiverRenew Tunnel System Project. This marks a major milestone to comply with a 2017 Virginia law to deliver cleaner, healthier waterways to Alexandria by July 2025.
Our Phone Number Has Changed
As part of ongoing RiverRenew construction activities at our wastewater plant, AlexRenew is switched phone service providers from Verizon to Comcast. The switchover to Comcast was necessary to keep RiverRenew’s aggressive timeline on-schedule. Effective November 18, 2020, AlexRenew's phone number for incoming calls and customer service is 703-721-3500.
