Reclaimed Water
While most of our cleaned water is returned back to the environment, we take advantage of this resource by reusing our water onsite as much as possible.
In 2011, we reused over 1.3 billion gallons of our treated effluent for plant maintenance and cleaning – this saves AlexRenew almost $3 million in purchased water expenses.
